Who Is Tim David, CMP?

Having performed thousands of live shows in his young career, Tim David really knows how to entertain a crowd. He began in 1992 as a birthday party entertainer. Since then, children from ages 1 to 93 (literally) have invited Tim to bring his unique brand of laughter, magic, and memories to their special celebrations. "I've shared my magic with a lot of different age groups," says Tim, "but I must say that seeing a child watch an illusion is magic in itself."

1999 was the year that Tim turned his hobby into a full-time career. There were certainly obstacles in his way, but through persistence and hard work, Tim is presenting roughly 300 school assembly programs and private functions each year, making him one of the busiest magicians in New England.

His "Magic With A Message" programs use magic and entertainment as a visual aid, memory hook, and attention-getter, Tim expertly weaves important life messages that every student needs to hear into his programs. "There are more important things than magic," admits Tim, "and what could be more important than helping children make the good choices that will positively affect their lives?"

As a prolific author and inventor of new illusions, Tim is widely recognized by his peers for being on the cutting-edge of magic technique and for having top-notch performance ability. Thousands of magicians flock to Tim's websites and products daily to learn his latest and greatest secrets - from beginner to ultra-advanced.

In 2002, Tim earned his CMP (Certified Magic Professional - fewer than 50 magicians in the world share this distinction) and was presented his certificate at a magician's conference in Atlanta, GA. During the conference, Tim was a featured speaker and he shared some of the professional business advice that has helped him become such a huge success. Since then he has authored two books on the topic and become recognized worldwide as a leader in this industry.

Tim continues to speak and perform full-time and he lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Katie (a school teacher) and daughter, Chloe.
